Instead of saying, "I missed up," Obama has decided to double down on his rhetorical strategy of choice, and the lies keep coming.

While this is not as clear a lie as some Obama has told,  still,  its impact is the same as that of a clearly stated lie,  especially when he pretends that annual insurance premiums,  before ObamaCare,  would more often than not,  increase beyond what he has proposed.  Folks are finding out that,  as much as rising insurance costs were a pain,  ObamaCare is no better,  its program of insurance no more serviceable,  and its out of pocket expenses are far greater than with the existing system,  a system he has destroyed.

PRESIDENT OBAMA: We did this to put to end the days when the individual market had no standards, when every year, thousands of Americans would be dropped from their coverage. People are acting like this is some new phenomenon. Every year there was churn in this individual market. The average increase was double digits on premiums in this same market, with or without the Affordable Care Act. People were getting, often times, a very bad deal. (Organizing for Action campaign event, November 4, 2013).

Think about your own insurance experience.  Understand that in California (and most states),  there existed an insurance commissioner  whose office enforced specific standards for the industry;  "thousands" of American's were not dropped from insurance roles as if by some sort of whim;  and the average increase in rates was/is no greater than the proposals found in ObamaCare.

As it turns out,  all of the ObamaCare policies will either increase premiums and/or greatly increase out of pocket expenses such as co-pays and deductibles.  Unlike before,  we no longer have a choice.  If we don't like the insurance offering,  we really have nowhere to go and we cannot simply decided to go without.

Finally,  what most people do not get,  is this: we are headed for a single-payer system.  When Obama argues that folks without coverage cost the taxpayers more and more each year,  what in the world does he think is going to happen under a "single-payer" system,  in which the taxpayer pays all of the stinking costs.

Smoke and mirrors by folks who have no moral centre,  that is what we have in the leadership of the Socialist/Democrats of today.
