I say, "Call their bluff and stop Social Security payments" and see what happens in 2014.

Claiming they have the votes in the House to pass a budget bill without saying a word about the  mess that is ObamaCare,  Senator Chuck Schumer tell Boehner, over the weekend, “Just vote !!”

Here is the problem with this bit of hypocrisy:  Understand that ObamaCare took an entire year to finalize,  in a Democrat controlled  Congress in which the GOP had absolutely no power.  What you do not know is this:  there were six scheduled votes in the Senate on ObamaCare.  The first five were postponed at the last minute because Reid had decided he did not have the votes for ratification.  In other words,  the bill failed on five separate occasions.  After  months and months of one cancelled vote after another,  I was screaming,  “Just vote.”  ObamaCare would have failed,  officially, if such a vote had been taken and it would have failed five times over !!!!

We are talking “politics,” folks.  This is how politics is played,  especially when one party has no regard for the other.  What the Socialist/Progressives cannot escape,  however,  is the conservative opposition and the surveyed will of the people.  When Obama is scaring Wall Street to death and telling seniors they may not get their checks  (when did any president from either party ever commit to this degree of scare and crisis encouragement?),  he is putting his party at greater risk than is the case today.

I say,  “Go ahead and tell 80 million voting seniors you will do nothing to prevent a Social Security payment crisis,”  and see what happens in the coming two elections.  Sorry,  but I do not believe the vast majority of voters will believe that their loss of SS income is the fault of the GOP.
