Getting my information directly from the horses
mouth (sometimes it is hard to tell, in Obama's case, but this is the other end of the horse), we learn that B Obama
paid an effective tax rate for 2012 of just 18.4%. The real pisser in
this report is the fact that after a presidential campaign in which this clown
serving as our president blasted Mitt Romney for being a rich man out of touch
with the "people," a man who represented the worst of the
"one-percenters" because he (Mitt) had paid a "paltry" 14.1% effective
tax rate for 2011 (but more than an average of 21% over the past 20 years), Barry Obama is no better. He "schemed and
manipulated" his way into a tax bracket that - also - has him paying less than Buffet's secretary, and paid far less in taxes AND charitable donations than
Romney in doing so. And to think that you people voted for
this duplicitous, high rolling, self absorb
and pretentious hypocrite.

Forbes.com gives this information about Romney: in short, the man paid 57% of all the money he earned to taxes at all levels, church, and charities.
Much has been made about Mitt Romney’s tax returns. Reviewing them clarifies both public policy and personal wealth management.
The Romneys’ 2011 adjusted gross income (AGI) was about $13.7 million. Their total federal income tax due was about $1.9 million. A quick calculation assumes their overall tax rate was 14.1%. But this number is highly misleading. The average person might assume the Romneys were able to keep 85.9% of everything they earned, which is simply not true. Let’s see how much the couple really kept for themselves.
After establishing AGI, there are a number of below-the-line deductions. The Romneys had $4.6 million in itemized deductions. They paid $1.3 million in state and local income taxes and $215,000 in real estate taxes. . . . Forbes.com
