Obama will campaign for the Democrat Party for the next two years. Question, is that really good news for the Democrats?

President Barack Obama says he’s ready to do whatever it takes to help Democrats win the House next year — a feat that could make the difference between limping to the end of his presidency and going out with a bang.
But some Democratic candidates and operatives in the districts on which control of the House will hinge said in interviews with POLITICO that the message and issues Obama has emphasized since the election are creating a difficult political headwind for them.   (see the Politico.com for the full article).

Editor’s notes:  understand that the 2014 elections are not about national politics so much as they are about [congressional] district politics.  There are 435 congressional districts in the 50 states,  one each,  for members of the House of Representatives.  The majority of these districts lean right.
Obviously,  many of these same districts are close to the line that marks them as “leaning” one way or the other.  As a result,  each party has a chance of scoring a major victory when it comes to the control of the House.

While Obama’s campaign machine can “turn out” votes for the national election,  that bit of self-serving, inbred, politicking does not work to the same degree in the midterm,  district elections.

All the talk of “get out the vote” on the part of the liberal Left,  is more about manipulating the voting demographic than it is about “getting out the vote.”

Understand that when you send buses to Democrat districts,  help those people fill out their “practice” ballots,  load them onto buses,  take them the voting booth,  and bring them home,  you have just bought hundreds of thousands  (if not millions) of votes for the Democrat campaign.

That process takes money and lots of volunteers.  Currently,  the interest for such treachery is not as high for midterms as it is for a national campaign.   As a result,  those of us who actually understand the issues and have the will to get out of bed  -  on our power – and take ourselves to the voting booth,  have more sway in the midterm elections as a voting collective.

2014 is a midterm and Obama is working full time to counter the “midterm trend”  I have just described.  The problem with his efforts is this:  to date and since his victory in November,  the past four months have found that his efforts have reduced Democrat certainties as to the coming election.
In the past,  the anti-gun issue has produced devastating results for the Democrats who support such nonsense, especially in "red" districts.   But we live in changing times and the question remains,  “Will Obama defeat his own party as he continues to divide this nation against itself?”
