Sarah speaks out and 3,512,188 say they agree !!

Understand that the Sequester cuts less than 2% of the budget,  the same amount cut from the payroll checks of each and every American,  beginning a month ago.  The difference is this:  the payroll deduction was a real cut;  the Sequester will only be a percentage cut in the increases promised for government.  There are no cuts.  We just don't drive over the cliff as quickly as before the Sequester,  and,  Obama is angry about that,  in spite of the fact that this Sequester was his big idea.  What a joke.

Here is the advice of Sarah Palin,  one who is infinitely more qualified to serve the presidency,  than is Obama after 5 years of practice.

D.C.: Cut the Drama. Do Your Job.

Americans are sick and tired of yet another ginned-up crisis. D.C. needs to grow up, get to work, and live within its means. The real economic Armageddon looming before us is our runaway debt, not the sequester, which the President advocated for and signed into law and is now running around denouncing because he never had any genuine intention of reining in his reckless spending.

Remember that this sequestration deal came about because of the long debt ceiling standoff in the summer of 2011. It wasn’t the ideal outcome for anyone, but it did at least include real deficit reduction of about $110 billion per year for 10 years, which is still nowhere near enough to close our massive deficit. Keep in mind that since the sequester passed, the President has already hit American families and small business owners with his tax increases, or “more revenue” as he likes to call it. The American public doesn’t want tax increases; we want government to rein in its overspending.

If we can’t stomach modest cuts that would lower federal spending by a mere 0.3% per year out of a current federal budget of $3.6 trillion, then we might as well signal to the whole world that we have no serious intention of dealing with our debt problem.

If we are going to wet our proverbial pants over 0.3% in annual spending cuts when we’re running up trillion dollar annual deficits, then we’re done. Put a fork in us. We’re finished. We’re going to default eventually and that’s why the feds are stockpiling bullets in case of civil unrest.

If we ARE serious about putting our fiscal house in order, then let’s stop the hysterics, tighten our belts, and take our medicine.

Lanny Davis, a Clinton advisor, was threatened by Obama, in much the same way as Bob Woodward. So too, several other prominent Democrats. (video)

WASHINGTON -- Bob Woodward isn't the only person who's received threats for airing the Obama administration's dirty laundry.  It seems anyone is a potential target of the White House these days - even former senior members of the Clinton administration.

A day after Woodward's claim that a senior White House official had told him he would "regret" writing a column criticizing President Obama's stance on the sequester, Lanny Davis, a longtime close advisor to President Bill Clinton, told WMAL's Mornings on the Mall Thursday he had received similar threats for newspaper columns he had written about Obama in the Washington Times.

Davis told WMAL,com that his editor, John Solomon, "received a phone call from a senior Obama White House official who didn't like some of my columns, even though I'm a supporter of Obama. I couldn't imagine why this call was made."  Davis says the Obama aide told Solomon, "that if he continued to run my columns, he would lose, or his reporters would lose their White House credentials."

Republicans begin to fight back, finally, after more than four years. The editor at White House Dossier posts an article in the Far Left, Politico, and they printed the thing !!

Good morning.

Go negative - that's the theme of my new piece for Politico, which argues that the GOP must take a page out of Obama's playbook and go on the attack.

But not in the petty, ad hominem way Obama does it. Republicans, if they want to build a base for a positive expression of their principles, need to attack and tear down liberal ideas and show why, though they sound like they're designed to help people, these ideas actually don't. And in doing this, they will tie Obama's policies and ideology to the disastrous economy, a responsibility he has avoided.
Republicans won't agree on a leader and a plan until 2016. But they can agree on now what they don't like, and that's where they should focus. I've got lot's of specifics, and I hope you'll take a look.

Read of the critical impact of Bob Woodward as Obama attempts to work his slash and burn strategy against the GOP.

The following is a cut and paste from the pages of Memeorandum.com,  a left leaning news portal I use in building the daily blog here,  at Midknight Review.   The point of this post is this:  with the advent of the Bob Woodward's criticism of Obama’s Sequester Stuntsmanship,  the major media is forced into taking a second look at what this man [Obama] is doing,  at least in view of the Sequester.

No wonder Obama has threatened Woodward with “You’ll be sorry for doing this.”    Woodward is a Big Government Democrat,  but not an anti-colonialist,  not a radical.   He really cares about this country and its Constitutional foundations.

Because he is the man who brought Nixon down,  his thinking is given great respect within the Liberal community.  His criticism is a big deal,  so big, in fact,  that the media will not try to sweep it under the rug  --  and,  as you can see, they clearly have not.

Bob Woodward Tears Into Obama With Veiled Nixonian Criticism: 'Madness That I Haven't Seen In A Long Time'

Obama the Negotiator Marvel: he is granting the lowly Republican leadership a 7 minutes audience. Why don't they send him a card and say, "Thanks, anyway."

WashingtonTimes.comNever let it be said that President Obama has failed to spend time with Republican leaders in seeking an alternative to automatic budget cuts that are due to hit most federal departments Friday. On Wednesday, for example, the president gave GOP lawmakers as much as seven minutes, a rare face-to-face encounter that the White House described as a “meeting.”
The White House’s characterization of this momentary huddle at the Capitol as a meeting illuminates Mr. Obama’s strategy in dealing with Republicans on the budget cuts and other fiscal deadlines.
With speeches and other staged events, the president has tried to build public pressure for his agenda of tax increases coupled with spending cuts.
But he has made little time for negotiating directly with lawmakers who oppose his plans.
“It is a sincere conviction among Republicans that the president’s negotiating posture isn’t about getting a deal done, it’s a zero-sum political game where his aim is to destroy the Republican [House] majority in the next election,” said Steve Schmidt, a Republican strategist who served in 2008 as Sen. John McCain’s presidential campaign manager. “It’s certainly not an effective strategy for a leader in search of a deal.”

Editor's notes:  while many of us are political junkies,  hanging on every word and strategic move in government,  we were told, yesterday,  that less than 25% of the nation is paying attention.  On Wednesday,  a couple of fellows came and mapped out the new solar system we are putting on our home.  I mentioned the Sequester  . . . . . . . .  they had no clue.  I offered them a drink,  smiled,  and moved on.  The smiled?  Well,  if it is Obama's to pollute the gene pool against the Republicans,  no one in the larger population cares.

Bob Woodward, the man who brought Nixon down, has these harsh words for Obama on the nonsense regarding Sequester.

Woodward: Can you imagine Ronald Reagan sitting there and saying ‘Oh, by the way, I can’t do this because of some budget document?’ Or George W. Bush saying, ‘You know, I’m not going to invade Iraq because I can’t get the aircraft carriers I need’ or even Bill Clinton saying, ‘You know, I’m not going to attack Saddam Hussein’s intelligence headquarters,’ as he did when Clinton was president because of some budget document?

Under the Constitution, the president is commander-in-chief and employs the force. And so we now have the president going out because of this piece of paper and this agreement, I can’t do what I need to do to protect the country. That’s a kind of madness that I haven’t seen in a long time.

Obama is refusing to send one of our aircraft carriers to the Mediterranean,  because of so-called Sequester cuts.  He has already shorted the military 2 aircraft carriers, cutting that  fleet of ships from 11,  as stated by law,  to 9,  and now,  has decided to scare the general population,  using Sequester to cut military participation in a very critical part of the world.  It is this,  that Woodward calls "madness."  And when Woodward speaks of "a long time,"  he references the Nixon era.

No meat deliveries in Central California for two weeks because of Obama' s decision to punish the GOP. All of government is fully funded, even after the Sequester

Hi, wondered if this was info you'd be interested in knowing about. . . . I thought it was handy! Julie

Subject: No meat for two weeks? Meat inspector furloughs on March 1st.

Good morning,

We were told by a rancher from our church that at the cattle men's meeting this week the announcement was made that the Feds will be furloughing the meat inspectors for 2 weeks starting on March 1st.  Pat and her husband Calvin have been ranchers here in Raymond for over 20 years.  She was very upset last night when she told our group what was happening.  This action by the Federal government will empty the store shelves, and also cause a substantial  increase in the cost of meats and chickens, etc. in the future.

This information can be verified on several news sites including the following:

I strongly advise you to check this out and take action to prepare for this to happen by supplementing the amount of meat you have on hand before the end of this month.  How long do you figure it will take for the stores to run out of meats and poultry?  I figure about 3 days...

A giant "we told you so" as the dufus nation continues to pretend that it has a president who knows what he is doing. Update: we show 200 trillion in debt in 75 years.

From the NationalReview.com,  we learn - no surprise to anyone on the Right, that  "Obamacare will increase the long-term federal deficit by $6.2 trillion, according to a Government Accountability Office (GAO) report released today."

Remember their lies:  first,  ObamaCare was going to save a family of four,  $2,500 a year on their health care and cut the national debt by nearly a trillion dollars,  over the course of the next decade.  Then,  we learned,  just 18 months after Obama signed this moronic piece of legislation,  that just the opposite had occurred,    it was going to cost the nation more than a trillion and each family of four,  more than $2,500 --  a swing of $5,000 per family.   Last month,  we were told that  7 million Americans will be cut from the program,  altogether,  because their employers cannot afford the cost and are surrendering to Central Planning which can't accept them,  now,  because of a written limitation,  in the reform law,  itself.    And, now,  the news of this day.

The article continues:  "Senator Jeff Sessions (R., Ala.), who requested the report, revealed the findings this morning at a Senate Budget Committee hearing. The report, he said, “confirms everything critics and Republicans were saying about the faults of this bill,” and “dramatically proves that the promises made assuring the nation that the largest new entitlement program in history would not add one dime to the deficit were false.”

Don't think for a minute that this latest report is the final time bomb,  on ObamaCare.  Count on this thing being more of a sore than the 42 trillion deficit caused by Medicare.  Stop voting for the Democrats who have don't know how to add and subtract,  or who can't think and write above 9th grade level  (Obama).

Update:  understand that the 6.2 trillion is the anticipated unfunded liability for this program in the coming 75 years.  We only wish that this would be the case  . . . .  we could actually live with that projection.  Sadly,  the correct way of looking at this statement is this,  the 6.2 trillion is what these financial geniuses are admitting to,  just 23 months after the bill's signing in March (27th) of 2010.  The law has not been fully written,  even to this day,  and will not be fully implemented until the end of 2014.

You should know that Medicare is now,  an integral part of ObamaCare,  and carries a 42 trillion dollar   burden as to unfunded liabilites  --  accumulated since its inception beginning with 1965, 46 years ago.

Put that in your computer bank:  42 trillion in 46 years years.

Now,  ask yourselves,  how bad is this going to get?  6 trillion in 2 years is well over 200 trillion,  in 75 years  -  plus  Medicare's burden,  which will likely double from its current 42 trillion deficit.
