Midknight Review -- new and revised: Now the Left is blaming cops for carrying guns.

Understand that the State of Illinois is run by big spending Democrats. Their taxes are among the highest in the United States, next to California and Hawaii. The state is running businesses out of town faster than they can immigrate into the state. The rich are leaving the state, as well. Chicago's gun policies have done nothing to stop the violence in that city and now, the owners of Denny's in Belleville, Ill., have decided on a "no gun zone," has refused service to state troopers who came into the store for coffee and breakfast because they were wearing guns.

As I have said many times before, the notion that Liberals are smarter than conservatives is not only a trivial thought, it has been proven wrong so many times in the past, as to prove the theory to be patently false. This is, yet, another example of this fact.

Because of Sandy Hook Elementary, folks in Illinois have decided to punish cops.

Before Sandy Hook, Columbine was the second worse mass school shooting in the U.S. I mention this because Columbine took place on April 29, 1999. Clinton's gun ban was implemented in September of 1994, five years before Columbine. Point? The gun ban failed the Columbine students.

And the worst school killings? 1913, when 38 students were killed via a series of bombs.

Except for the Gifford event, all mass shootings since 1950 have taken place in "gun free zones." Sandy Hook was the only school in the area with a posted "gun free zone." There were several other schools in the area with no such signage.

The Aurora, Colorado murders, took place in the only theater out of seven, with a posted sign saying, "No concealed weapons allowed." The killer walked into that particular theater, confident that he would not face lethal opposition.

But who cares if certain Liberal solutions actually work against the very thing Libs are trying to prevent. And now, this silliness in Illinois.

The cops have decided to boycott Denney's and I do not blame them.

Let's start with solutions, and stop with the random blame game that accomplishes nothing, shall we?

The Stated Nonsense from the Left now includes these Progressive goals:

July 2, 2008, Obama had this to say: "We cannot continue to rely only on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives that we've set. We've got to have a civilian national security force that's just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded."

MICHELLE OBAMA: "Barack knows that we are going to have to make sacrifices; we are going to have to change our conversation; we're going to have to change our traditions, our history; we're going to have to move into a different place as a nation."

On September 30, Van Jones told MSNBC "I think everybody should hold onto your seats. October is going to be the turning point when it comes to the progressive fight back."
