A record over the 2008 first debate, was set on Wednesday night of more than 58 million viewers. Fox News, on cable, lead all networks including CBS, ABC and the remaining competitors.
The radicals at MSNBC had the least number of viewers, across the board and in all time slots.
If we combine Fox cable and Fox broadcasting, the total viewership was 17.3 million for the
9 to 10:30 time slot. For both time
slots (early and late), more than 25
million Americans watched this first presidential debate on the Fox network.
