Before 2009/2009, you have a 315,000 average for first time applications, and a 5% unemployment rate. Contrast that with the 382,000 average for weekly applications, of the past several weeks and a disputed 8.3 percent unemployment rate and rising. Point of post: nothing has changed over the course of the past three years. What makes you think things are going to be different with Obama anytime soon????
