The Plan |
From Politico, 9/26/12 by R Simon:
Paul Ryan has gone rogue. He is unleashed, unchained, off
the hook.
“I hate to say this, but if Ryan wants to run for national
office again, he’ll probably have to wash the stench of Romney off of him,”
Craig Robinson, a former political director of the Republican Party of Iowa,
told The New York Times on Sunday.
Coming from a resident of Iowa, a state where people are polite even to soybeans, this was a powerful condemnation of the Republican nominee.
Though Ryan had already decided to distance himself from the
floundering Romney campaign, he now feels totally uninhibited. Reportedly, he
has been marching around his campaign bus, saying things like, “If Stench
calls, take a message” and “Tell Stench I’m having finger sandwiches with Peggy
Noonan and will text him later.”
Editor's notes: I am no longer giving out the hyperlink for articles written in Politico and referenced, here, on this blog. The piece, above, is fully documented but providing the reader with a hyperlink to this site, a site that majors in lies and false information, is not something I will continue to do.
Politico has spent years lying about Sarah Palin. And, now, it has turned its sights on Paul Ryan. The article above is not about the truth; rather, it is about ruining Ryan's hopes for a presidential run, in 2016.
Before moving on, you should know that the two men, Romney and Ryan, continue to campaign together. Nothing in their demeanor or manner of speech even hints at a divide between the two candidates. On film, they appear to be quite comfortable with each other. In private, their denials as regards this story are genuine. Hopefully, they will spend no time dealing with this story.
The storyline was picked up by these publications: BuzzFeed, New York Times, The Maddow Blog, Addicting Info, Pensito Review, Gawker,Mediaite, Taylor Marsh, The Iowa Republican, The Hinterland Gazette, Shakesville, Paul Krugman, Balloon Juice and The Mahablog / The Daily Beast, ThinkProgress, The Raw Story, Mock, Paper, Scissors
If you are a political freak, as I am, you will recognize most of the above as Socialist/Progressive publications of the first order. Politico, Think Progress and Salon, along with MSNBC, sit around and make up rhetorical crap designed to destroy the enemy. Others pick up these stories and away we go.
Beware and be encouraged.
Your desperation is evident. Obama is headed for a landslide.
ReplyDeleteObama Landslide? That's a good one. Oooh, hilarious. Even Obama admits he could lose this election.
ReplyDeleteAnyway, the media is indeed lying about Ryan, but they didn't have to lie about Palin. She really is just that stupid. Ryan, however, is not.
What he is, though, like Romney, is a pretender to political change, and if--as seems quite likely--he becomes Vice President, his talk of cuts and reductions will fade into nothing, or almost nothing.
