The Ohio congress recently passed into law, a voter reform bill that sets a deadline for “early
voting” three days before an election. The
law resets early voting time limits to help facilitate voter count. It allows the military vote to be counted
until Monday, in compliance with federal mandates.
While early voting is a right, certainly time limits on early voting are not, unless, of course, such limitations effect one class of voter over another. An exception to the Ohio reform law is made for the military; that exception is both understandable and necessary, for obvious reasons.

In a lawsuit filed by the Obama Administration, the claim is made that ending early voting
three days early (except for the military) sorely effects Democrats more than
Republican.
Time will tell as to whether the attending judge is a
Democrat activist or a Republican. While
there appears to be serious considerations favoring both sides of this
question, one thing is for certain –
military approval for its “Commander In Chief” is running 59-35 [Gallup] against the man
(Obama).
Back in 2000, Gore
tried to suppress the military vote as he attempted to sequester an exclusive
Democrat voting block in limited areas of Florida. It didn’t work back then, and, if that is what is happening now, it is hoped that this strategy will fail
again.
There is no doubt, given the animus of the military voter toward Obama, that the Dems will work to suppress that vote at some point during this election.

Politico runs pushes their bias report here.
Update on the Politico article: this Democrat rag along with the Obama campaign is unyielding in its criticism of Romney on this matter, making it clear that the Governor is nothing other than a liar in charging Obama is working against the military. Problem: 15 Vet organizations including the National Guard have sided with Romney, according to Chris Wallace on his report, earlier on Sunday.

Fox News carries an opposing bias in their reporting, here.
And from the Examiner:
"“Military voters
deserve to have every opportunity possible to cast their ballot, and in Ohio,
we have worked with Ohio military organizations to ensure they do,” says Jon
Husted, Ohio Secretary of
State. “This premise of
the Obama campaign’s lawsuit is that because of the high level of support we
offer to members of the military and their families, the rest of Ohioans are
somehow being treated unfairly. I fundamentally disagree and will make no
apologies for the additional flexibility we have afforded our service members
to participate in Ohio elections. The truth is there is plenty of opportunity
for all voters to participate in the election this November whether they choose
to vote early, by mail or on Election Day.”
