<<<< Did you know that after the assault weapons ban expired in 2005, gun violence actually went down -- and continued that trend for years. We have charts proving this point. A deceitful trick of the anti-gun goons is to role gangland violence into the domestic issue. If you are not a member of a gang, your chances of being murdered by a gun are less than your chances of drowning.
In a story carried by the Washington Times, we have this “shocker.”
Faced with a clamor in his party for stricter gun control in
the wake of the Colorado movie-theater massacre, President Obama said Wednesday
night he would “leave no stone unturned” in seeking new measures to reduce
violence nationwide, including more restrictive background checks on gun
purchases.

“A lot of gun owners would agree that AK-47s belong in the
hands of soldiers, not in the hands of criminals,” Mr. Obama said at the annual
National
Urban League convention in New Orleans. “They belong on the
battlefield of war, not on the streets of our cities.”
If you are one of the Misguided who believes that Obama is
not a part of the radical anti-gun crowd,
you simply do not understand politics.
You should also know that the Colorado killer used an AR-15, not an AK-47.
The current debate has folks believing there are not limits to what one can buy, in terms of fire power. You should know that folks cannot buy a “bazooka” or
a “tank” or a sub-machine gun in this
county without a major hassle. Claims to the contrary are nothing more than misinformation designed to bias the uninformed. By the way, anti-aircraft weapons are, also, off limits, for some weird reason.
When Obama says, “AK-47s belong
in the hands of soldiers,” he is not
thinking about a band of intruders entering your home or your property with the
intend to harm. He is not thinking about
home defense needs that pit the home owner against a band of thieves, all bearing arms. When it is two or three or four against
one, I want an AK-47 or an AR-15 . . .
. period. I already have a short barrel 12 gauge
shotgun. I bought it as a home defense
weapon, designed to kill those who might
seek me and my family harm.
My next gun will be a "repeater" of some sort - hand gun or rifle. I intend to get a carry permit, as well . . . . . . . and lots of ammunition. Don't like that?? Stay out of my home unless invited.
