The GOP has a mildly embarrassing moment - no sooner reported than it is over.

<<< Jonathan Krohn,  back when he really was somebody . . . . . . . . as a 13 year old child.

Jonathan Krohn took the political world by storm at 2009’s Conservative Political Action Conference when, at just 13 years old, he delivered an impromptu rallying cry for conservatism that became a viral hit and had some pegging him as a future star of the Republican Party”  (Politico).

The very gullible Sean Hannity had him on his show once or twice.    He wrote a book  . . . . . . as a 13 year old;    Bill Bennet along with Newt slobbered all over the back dust cover but  this editor completely ignored the kid.  The boy struck me as being,  well,  13 years old.  Sorry,  but I do not accept as an authority,  anyone who is 13 years old.  This blog never mentioned his name,  referenced his conservatism or ran his picture.  Somehow,  it seemed infantile to use this child’s “conservative” opinions to score points on the national scene.  So I ignored him  --  kind of like what I did for many years with my three sons.

And now you know why.  I left off being a Republican back in the mid-1990’s,  and have been comfortable as an independent conservative patriot,  ever since.   Over the years the GOP has appeared to be quite desperate.  Besides this child,  they have allowed into their ranks,  the likes of Michael Bloomberg,  Arnold Schwarzenegger,  Charlie Chris,  and anyone who is willing to call themselves a "Republican."

Anyway,  as a conservative patriot,  I am using the GOP as a vehicle to get things done.  This boys admission is of no consequence to me.  At 16,  he remains a child.  Let the Dems make a big deal of him for a while.  No doubt,  that is what he wants.

  1. And you are living proof of some sort of intellectual superiority ??? Get real. All you do, in terms of polemics, is call names and laugh and, in so many ways, mimic a kindergarten recess period. The only time you sound as if you have a brain is when you are quoting someone.

Guaranteed, no one on our side of the aisle has ever talked about "shovel ready jobs" as a jobs strategy, or sent the Russians a plastic toy "reset" button or told the freaking nation that we could offset our need for Middle Eastern oil by simply airing up our tires. You have a president so under educated that he does not know how to write a budget proposal (the last three failed 97 - 0, 95 -0 and 414 - 0 in the House) and a Democrat leadership that does not understand the budget process, so they just refused to even talk about a budget for the last THREE STINKING YEARS.

You live in the midst of idiots and are too stupid to know the difference.

  2. Thats just great, hamstring the President by filibustering every single bill he proposes then blame it on him... like a stuid child.

Do you think people are so stupid, they can't see what is going on or why we are here?

Look at the electoral map, you're getting your ass kicked. Loser.

  3. What is interesting about Jonathan Krohn, is that now he is 17, is now a Democrat, can think for himself and is highly intelligent. He supports Obama and he speaks about his conservative indoctrination. He blames the GA conservative talk radio for the misinformation. People do grow up, change as they lean.... except for Smithson.
