  1. Calling a duly elected president a 'marxist' is an example of the hyperbole, lack of repect, and outright hate we see in American politics today. This McConnell-esqe imperative transcends any agenda that could be helpful to the American people, particularly the economy. By comparison, Ronald Reagan would be seen as an unelectable moderate by today's extremist conservatives. A host of prominent Republicans including Huckabee, Lindsey Graham, and Duncan Hunter have said exactly that. Those that have watched DC politics for 40 yrs can clearly see this. Cooperation is seen as weakness by the radicals like Smithson and the tea party. Not at all like the Gipper.
