After all the Democrat whining, it turns out that Big Labor has "unfairly" advantaged Democrat coffers for years.

The Wall Street Journal has found and is reporting,  that labor unions,  beginning in the days before the Citizens United decision – (Jan 25, 2009),  have contributed more than $600 million a year to political campaigns for an admitted total of 4.4 billion dollars in the seven year period of 2005 - 2011,  money these unions have not reported in times past.

With that in mind,  we now know that the Obama campaign spent more than 1.4 billion dollars against McCain’s $530 million.  Of course,  the 2012 campaign season promises to be very different.

Keep this fact in mind:  the gross spending record of the 2008 Obama campaign netted him a marginal 7 point victory.  Against an opponent with equal funding sources,  the failing Obama may not be able to duplicate his 2008 victory.
