Obama's approval numbers? He got nothing for his amnesty stunt of last Friday and he, apparently, lost points for his Fast and Furious cover-up on Wednesday.

Generally speaking,  I have found that polls are affected by events that took place two days prior including the event day itself.  In this case,  Obama’s abuse of executive privilege took place Wednesday afternoon.  Today’s 44% approval rating, a drop of three points from the day before,  is a reflection of Wednesday's nonsense.  More than this,  last Friday (June 16) was the day Obama used “executive order” to offer temporary amnesty to a segment of the immigrant population.  If anything,  he lost approval points for this action, as well.  He certainly did not get an approval “bounce” for his trouble.

  2. "Crap" you say !! Those are the Rasmussen numbers in this post, not mine.

Look, no president has been re-elected with an unemployment rate of 7.2% or higher. We are at 8.2% No president has lied his way into office, twice. "Fool me once" happened in 2008.

The only polls that count are the election polls. The 2010 elections were a disaster for the Dems. 756 local and state offices "flipped" for the GOP, nation wide. The Senate GOP made one of its greatest gains in history, in 2010. And, this year, 23 Democrat Senators are up for re-election while only 10 Senate seats up for grabs are GOP seats.

In the House, only 15 seats are contested. After the election, the House will still belong to the GOP. . . . . . with a super majority, I might add.
