The new Bush 41 documentary shows reveals his angst at the very mention of the political clown, Ross Perot.

Mediaite (an entertainment blog) is carrying this headline,  today:

In New Documentary, A Usually Reticent George H.W. Bush Has Harsh Words For Ross Perot

Understand that the big lie as relates to Bush 41 and his loss to Bill Clinton is this:  his "read my lips" statement cost him the election.

Absolutely not true.  Ross Perot took 19% of the conservative vote from Bush, in that election.  Bush,  in turn,  lost to Bill Clinton.  Understand that Clinton won with only 43% of the national vote.  Perot took 19% of the vote and was NEVER going to win this election.  George H Bush scored 37% of the popular vote,  losing to Clinton by just 6%.

In Clinton's second election,  Dole lost to Bubba by 8.3% with Perot (yes,  this moron ran twice) taking 8.4% of the vote.  Clinton scored a victory with 49.2% of the vote,  the only president in modern history to win two presidential elections  without a majority vote in either  . . . . . . .  so much for his "popularity."
