For the second time in my lifetime, the approaching presidential election will not be a partisan affair. Nope. Carter'S was the first non-partisan election -- everyone wanted the man "gone." And the second non-partisan election will be Barack Obama. Mark my words.
In the spring of 2011, Obama's budget proposal was presented to his Democrat controlled Senate and lost 97 to Nothing. It was never presented in the House. Three months later (April of 2011), he resubmitted to the Congressional Budget Office. It was so poorly written as a financial document (seriously) that it was rejected, the chair of the CBO stating, "I cannot score a speech."
Earlier this spring (2012), Obama decided to try it again, and submitted a budget o the House. Someone sponsored his budget, the House voted and Obama's budget was defeated 414 to Nothing. And today, that budget was submitted to the Democrat controlled Senate and lost -- just a few hours ago -- 99 to Nothing.
No president in American history has ever had this as his legacy. One would think that Democrats in Congress would know that haters such as me, would jump over the "Nothing" part of these votes, and vote for these budgets, just to keep Obama from looking like such an abject incompetent.
I am telling you that Obama is the worst thing that has ever happened to the Democrats. Party politics will not allow open rebellion, but neither can party politics force party members to vote for published nonsense. This is an election year, after all.
Proof of GOP obstructionism.
