Of course, he could have had immigration reform completed as a gift to the Hispanic population and the Republicans would have been powerless to stop whatever it was, that Obama had in mind for "comprehensive" reform. That was the way it was, back in 2009. Unfortunately, he never even mentioned immigration legislation during that first year. Hispanics have no one to blame but themselves and Obama . . . . . . . period.
