He declares the war on terror to be over; no longer interrogates terrorists, secretly releases captured Taliban for no benefit at all and now, has outed a British double agent.

In the world of espionage,  the United States of America, under the leadership of Barack Hussein Obama,  has become an embarrassment to its citizens and the laughing stock of the free world.  We cannot or do not keep secrets;  we identify our own and set them up for retaliation;  we release terrorist our soldiers died taking into custody;  we no long capture and interrogate the murdering jihadists that are dedicated to our destruction and,  in general,  we know far less, now, about the inter-workings of the world of terror  than we did at the end of the Bush Administration,  far less.  And now,  we enter the last (hopefully) chapter in the Obama idiocy that is his failing war on terror:

A year ago,  Navy Seal Team 6 was ordered to take Osama out,  and they did.  Then,  the Obama Administration ran to the first open mic and announced bin Laden's death while,  at the same time,  telling the terrorist world which Special Ops force "did the deed."  12 weeks later, 23 of that Seal Team's members were killed and,  because of Obama's identification,  the terrorist were able to frame their deaths as "retaliation."

Then there was that campaign film,  in which Obama took credit for the killing of Osama and we all stewed about that campaign stunt for two weeks, this past April.

Following all this, there was the latest incident,  a double agent being outed by a leak from within our Administration.   For the past several weeks,  we thought the agent that had foiled an attempt to get a non-metallic bomb onto a a US passenger plane was a CIA double agent.

Turns out the double agent was not one of our own,  but an agent belonging to British intelligence and in that revelation,  we are reminded of the unprofessionalism of this bunch of misfits in our White House.

The following excerpt is taken from PJ Media and portends to revive this latest intelligence scandal,  framing it in a worse light than was originally the case, two weeks ago:

PJ Media text:

Just a week ago the establishment media was aflutter with news that a CIA double-agent had thwarted a new type of underwear bomb attack targeting U.S. flights in a plot devised by al-Qaeda of the Arabian Peninsula.

But as the week progressed, a developing bombshell story got buried under President Obama’s gay marriage announcement. Not only is the supposed CIA asset not a CIA asset at all, but the entire operation was exposed prematurely and the double-agent’s life was immediately threatened by an intelligence leak that very well may have come out of the White House for political gain.

As the story broke, the establishment media was more than happy to attribute the intelligence coup to the CIA and the Obama administration, describing the mole as a “CIA informant.”

It turns out that wasn’t true. The double-agent hadn’t been recruited and placed by the CIA, but by British intelligence, who also managed the operation. In fact, the Americans had only recently been made aware of the joint British-Saudi effort.

The leaks about the operation from the American side have infuriated British intelligence officials, who had hoped to continue the operation. The leaks not only scuttled the mission but put the life of the asset in jeopardy. Even CIA officials, joining their MI5 and MI6 counterparts, were describing the leaks as “despicable,” attributing them to the Obama administration. . . . . .  you will want to read the full article.
