Good news for Governor Scott Walker: he is leading in the polls and the man finally has a little money to spend on the campaign.

In 2010,  Scott Walker ran against Tom Barrett, Mayor of Milwaukee,  and won by a 53 to 46 margin.  In the most recent PPP polling,  nearly three weeks old,  he is leading Tom Barrett,  again,  in the recall election by very nearly the same margin  --  50 to 45.

More than this,  a number of major Republican contributors have donated more than $25 million into the Walker campaign,  making him far less vulnerable than two months.  Understand that this election will be held on June 5, a little over three weeks from now.

Fortunately for Walker,  I think,  is the fact that the college term will be over and many in the student population will not be available to vote.  Will that make a difference?  Time will tell, of course,  You should know that the polling numbers being taken,  now,  however,  include that student population.

Many observers believe that this election is a modest predictor as to the state's vote in November,
