While Obama's numbers are not good, the comparison between Obama and any GOP candidate gives Obama the "win." Understand that such comparisons are patently unfair. Obama has been campaigning non-stop since April 4. No GOP candidate is currently on the campaign trail against Obama, despite a negative ad here and there. The GOP Eight are running against each other.
In recent Gallup polling, "conservatives" without party affiliation scored more than three times higher than "liberals."
