From The Family Leader: Pleasant Hill, IOWA. – The FAMiLY LEADER, in conjunction with CitizenLink (the family advocacy arm of Focus on the Family) and the National Organization for Marriage, is pleased to announce that political pollster, Dr. Frank Luntz, will moderate the “Thanksgiving Family Forum – A Family Discussion with the Republican Candidates” on Saturday, Nov. 19. The forum will take place in Des Moines, Iowa at First Federated Church from 4:00-6:00 p.m (5 to 7 Eastern; 2 to 4 pm pst). (end of quote)
What is surprising, to me, is the fact that Mitt Romney has chosen to skip this particular discussion. He and Jon Huntsman have put out that they will not be present. Both are Mormons. Coincidence? I really do not know. Understand that as relates to the political scene, I have no complaint with Mormonism. If Mormons are disqualified because they are Mormons, so too are Reformed Lutherns if Baptists are making the decision, or Catholics if Protestants get to decide, or . . . . . . . . . . . you get the point.
For whatever reason, Romney is making a huge mistake in not attending. This will be a two hour discussion and should prove invaluable in the course of determining the GOP presidential candidate.
Live Stream: CitizenLink.com (Around 5pm ET)
Audio Stream: Bott Radio Network (Around 4:30pm ET)
Confirmed Participants: Bachmann, Cain, Gingrich, Paul, Perry, Santorum
The event was to have been aired on C-Spin, but "due to budgetary considerations," C-Spin reversed its decision and will air a book review or an in depth discussion on the place of the centipede in the larger environmental scheme of life and death. ( I am thinking since "god" has nothing to do with much of anything with this bunch of know nothings, maybe the centipede does).
