Looking at the top chart, we learn several things:
First, we learn that the Democrat Obama Following is not serious about getting along with the "other" side of the aisle. In fact, of the party divisions on the chart to the immediate left, only the Democrats swing upward when Obama upgraded his attack on the real middle class. He talks "rich" but he really has the millions and millions of TEA movement enthusiasts and GOP conservatives in mind. Understand that he cannot get re-elected if he cannot effect public opinion against the conservative Right. He cannot and will not run on his record. Divide and conquer is his only choice, and as a trouble making community organizer for years, this is what he is best suited to do.
Secondly, the single most important "party" division on our chart is the "Independent" grouping. It leans more to the Right than in past elections and its opinion of Obama, hanging around the 50% mark, has taken a nose dive into the 30 percentile bracket. This move downward began with Obama's harsh rhetoric and increase in class warfare strategies. Independents, as a group, are turned off by class warfare and harshness. Obama is using precisely the wrong strategy needed to win over the Independent vote and does not appear willing to change his strategy.
Third, in the bottom charting, we see the "educated class" deciding against Obama at the very time of his change in strategy. This downward trend is in stark contrast to their previous trending, a downward trend that is sudden, sharply downward and reflective of his advanced effort pushing class warfare.
Finally, and this is seldom mentioned, Obama is his own worst enemy when it comes to rhetorical strategy. I am saying that Obama is defeating himself, perhaps more so with his own angry wording than with his radicalized politic. All I can say is
Keep up the work.
