How is this "anti-capitalist" impostor doing, now that he has left MSNBC and gone to Al Gore's "Current" T.V. ? I say "impostor" because this "I can't get a woman to talk to me, even on a 900 line" wannabe celebrity, got Al Gore to pay him $10 million for coming to Current. Understand that in 2009, Current T.V. was averaging somewhere around 18,000 viewers a day; yes, "a day."
With Olbermann's first month, he averaged 106,000 for his show (O'Reilly was doing 2.8 million). By August, this had dropped to 79,000 and last month, it hit the 46,000 mark.
It amazes me as to the debate we have in this country over "intelligence." Specifically, who are the smartest, Liberals or Conservatives? It rattles the brain to imagine we have such discussions, but, while we are on the subject, I wonder just how Libs get their information? Seriously. Their books, typically, do not sell. Their newspapers sell to fewer and fewer people. It takes three Liberal cable news networks (CNN, HLN and MSNBC) to hang close to the one network where conservatives are treated fairly, Fox News. Air America, remember that brainchild (?), was in financial trouble from the very beginning and finally collapsed into bankruptcy. Current is bankrupt - but no one has sent Al Gore the memo.
Sarah Palin's first book was the top non-fiction seller for 2009 while Nancy Pelosi's book sold somewhere around 7,000 copies, mostly to friends and families and people who were in need of paper-weight material.
Anyway, the notion that a champion of anti-capitalist rhetoric makes $10 million and no one on the Marxist side of the aisle sees the contradiction, is beyond me. Apparently, us dummies just don't get it.
