Political trending favors the GOP, big time.

Here is the headline from Rasmussen:

Partisan Trends: 33.5% of Americans are Republicans, 33.5% Unaffiliated, 33.0% Democrats

Understand that at the time of the 2008 election, the GOP came in at 33 % against 41% of the population identifying as Democrat. The totals, today, represent a 7 year high for the GOP . Yes, it is just half a percentage point. Good for the GOP. But this is not the big news.

Understand that the loss of percentage population, for the Democrats, could amount to as many as 10.5 million voters. Obama won the election by just that amount - nearly 10 million. In addition, he has lost more than 40% of the women's vote, 36% of the Hispanic vote, 14% of the Black vote and nearly 30% of the Independent vote.

I was among the first, before Rush in fact, to forecast a seriously one-sided defeat for Barack Obama, should the current situation remain as it is.

Looking good for my forecast.
