Is Perry Dumb? The Morons at Politico are asking this question. Geeeesh

Moron is defined thus: Informal. a person who is notably stupid or lacking in good judgment. That is a definition I found on the web and it justifies my usage of the term as I apply it to the clowns at Politico. There was a time when Politico was only a Left leaning news outlet. Today, with the ascension of Barack Obama, this web rag has moved into the "radical Left" column. Questions such as the one in our headline, a quote from Politico, are proof that the web giant is as far Left as Left can be. It is not to be trusted, as a result, either in its reporting or in its polling.

Why?

The first rule of thumb, for a radical Leftist, is the belief that the ends justify the means used to get there. You should know that this idea (the ends justify the means) originated with a man named Saul Alinsky, the author of the book, Rules for Radicals. Hillary Clinton worked as an intern for Alinsky and wrote a BA thesis on his life - a very well written paper, by the way. The entire second chapter of this book, used by all Leftist reformers including Hillary and Obama, is about the doctrine of "ways and means."

What about the claim that Perry is "dumb?" Sad that we even have to have this discussion. The Left stops at nothing when it is faced with the demand to stand on their record and pontificate on the issues.

Perry graduated from Texas A & M with a BA in animal science. He graduated with a 2.5 grade point average. No, he did not finish "with honors." Soooo, does that mean he is good for nothing but a hamburger flipper job? Is that what the Politico clowns believe? Understand that a "journalism degree" is not exactly an indicator of noteworthy intelligence.

Upon graduation from A & M, Perry was commissioned in the Air Force, completed pilot training, and flew C-130 tactical airlift in the United States, the Middle East, and Europe until 1977 (five years). He left the Air Force with the rank of captain. I ask you, how "dumb" can the man be? You should know that from the time he entered politics, he has not lost a single election. 13 consecutive victories. Again, a real dummy does no such thing.

Wikipedia makes a point of telling its readers that a Democrat Rick Perry supported Al Gore's primary bid, in 1988. A big "minus" for many, until they realize that he left the Democrat Party in 1989 and did not support Gore in the 2000 election versus George W Bush.

Finally, lets remember that 10 of the past 44 presidents did not graduate from any college, that FDR, who graduated from Harvard, did not distinguish himself, scholastically, with his educational career, that Ron Reagan graduated from Eureka College before becoming a two term president, one of the most influential presidents of all time. His policies took us out of one of the worst recessions in history and brought an end to the cold war.

I have no idea who I will support during the primary campaign, unless Sarah, Marco Rubio or Paul Ryan get in the race. But, for certain, I will not be looking to question Perry's mental "faculties."

Compared to Obama? Who knows. Obama supposedly graduated "with honors" from Harvard, but never wrote a paper of merit while in college; has a difficult getting his subjects and predicates to agree; has no clue as to how to pronounce "corps" as in military corpsmen (he prefers to say "corpseman" [as in 'dead body'] instead of "cor-man") ; did not know how many states there are in our union (". . . 57 or is it 58 . . . "). Understand that Obama's transcripts are all sealed. Why? Understand that not a single student of Obama, during the years he taught summer sessions at the University of Columbia, has ever come forward to brag about his time "setting at the feet of the master teacher." No one. Again, why? And how did he get into Harvard, to begin with? Was it due to affirmative action or did Obama have the scholastic credentials, on his own ? For sure, we will never know.

Our conclusion? Rick Perry is just fine, intellectually. Perhaps Obama is not !!!!?
