This is the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals. It was a three judge panel and it voted 2-1 against ObamaCare's individual mandate. One of the two judges was a Democrat appointed by Bill Clinton. With this decision, a Supreme Court review is guaranteed and will probably come in October of 2012, just days before the Nov. 6th election.
What most people do not understand is that the Democrats have already decided upon a plan to continue ObamaCare should the Supreme Court decide against the individual mandate. If you are not a regular here, at Midknight Review, you will not know of this development. Many experts do not believe there is enough money to make ObamaCare work, and, certainly not if the mandate is removed. Time will tell.
In the end, it was another good week for the forces of good in this country.
The debt ceiling "deal" was made and the United States was downgraded anyway, contrary to statements coming from the White House. The downgrade is not good but proving the White House has no clue [again] is a good thing.
Then there was the election victory in Wisconsin. The socialist controlled teachers' union in that state was defeated in its effort to recall GOP congressional representatives. Their first plan, to run and hide -- as legislators -- proved to be very unpopular. The election defeat may prove to be more a problem for Obama's re-election hopes than first meets the eye.
And finally, we end the week with a victory for opponents of ObamaCare.
Salute to the TEA Party Movement and National Conservativism in general !!!!
