A failing Obama lectures us on "success."

Obama to GOP: Put country before party That is the morning headline to which the GOP is most definitely saying, "Practice what you preach, for just a couple of months !!"

Well, that was an easy response.

The real purpose of this post is to remind those who read that 57% of Independents shout our response. What is worse, with the new Gallup poll, Obama's approval rating has hit a new low, 39%. It is clear that his handling of the debt ceiling issue was a problem for his approval numbers. He has dropped 16 points since the debate heated up, some three weeks ago.

Understand that his continuing fall is not about any one call for perfection. Rather, it is about an increasing historic context that speaks to his inability to preform. His success with the Osama killing did not accomplish the rise in popularity he had hoped. Why? Because we are looking at the total context of his activity. Osama was only one consideration. In fact, Osama was the only consideration that many saw as acceptable. He has failed, to date, to have any positive impact on the economy or foreign affairs or any number of other extremely important concerns.

We know that Obama put party politics before both country and its Constitution, during the 2009 health care "debate." We know that he has funneled billions into union coffers. We know that he has used Fannie and Freddie to pay off GM debt and line the pockets of his Democrat cronies -- we know all this. And yet he seems to think that we are still in the dark with regards to his brand of socialist, one world, idiocy.

He believes this in spite of the fact that his numbers continue to fall, that his rating with Independents has fallen more than 20 points !!! What does this mean? It means that the act of political gamesmanship begins with Obama, himself. The delusion of self importance and global acceptance is the first step, necessary, before Obama can walk out onto center stage thinking that he has a chance to return as ruler of America - and make no mistake, that is how he prefers to think of his global position.

Turns out, we are not the ones deceived; he is.

  2. Yahoo is a leftist polling outlet. Ditto CNN or anything NBC, or the NYT or the WaPost or USToday or Huff/Aol or five thirty eight, or most university polls.

News flash, William. The Leftist media always has the GOP at a disadvantage. But they win elections, anyway.
