Boehner and the GOP TEA Party folks cut 38.5 billion from Obama's spending plans for the 2011 fiscal year.

Obama claims the agreed upon 38.5 billion dollar cuts as his own, a feather in his cap when the facts are very much the opposite. Understand this: these are cuts to the Obama/Democrat spending frenzy known as "fiscal year 2011." Boehner, McConnell and the TEA Party Republicans are the ones who brokered this deal. The "cuts" were made to the Obama plan for spending. The GOP cut 38.5 billion from his wish list in addition to 20 billion in cuts over the past six weeks. The Speaker wanted 61 billion in cuts; he got 58.5 billion.

And the AP is reporting this: Speaker John Boehner said that over the next decade it would cut government spending by $500 billion — and won an ovation from his rank and file, tea party adherents among them.

Again, understand that the cuts agreed upon, were made to Obama's spending plans. Let that soak in for a minute. Speaker Boehner (pronounced "Bayner") cut Obama . . . . . . . . . . . and Obama is taking credit for that ??!!

Understand that by this time in Pelosi's 111th congressional term (April of 2009), she and Obama had spent 1.3 billion dollars (the Stimulus and the Omnibus Bill) with no cuts in sight for the next 100 years, as far as they were concerned.
