If you graduated from high school before 1981, you were educated without a Department of Education.

NPR decries the Christian Right, has met with the Muslim Brotherhood, and argues that federal funds are not needed, that NPR "would be better off" without government funding. You can read the article at the Daily Caller.

Our point is more than obvious, but we will make the point, anywho. Cut NPR funding and do it now -- since they admit they do not need the money all that much!! Cut NPR along with the Department of Education.

I grew up in a time when there was no DOE . . . me and my entire generation. Virtually all of this nation's CEO we educated in a pro-DOE era. We, as a generation, certainly know as much or more than than those educated since the inception of this secular mind controlling agency. Less than 15% of a school districts budget is not controlled or mandated by the Federal Government and what has been the end result? We are raising a bunch of dummies. Heck, parents and grandparents are not allowed in the classroom. It is illegal to tape classroom lectures. Religion is assaulted in the very classrooms we, the taxpayer, support. There is an increasing political agenda within the teaching community. Our kids are taught a revisionist history of this country and have no clue as to Constitutionally applied national governance, not a clue. And, nothing can be done about the mess these libs have made of our educational system.

Guess I should have made the teacher, the dummy . . . not the kids.

End note:

The DOE was made law in 1979 by Jimmy Carter, but did not achieve the level of influence it now has for 10 years. If you graduated from high school before 1990, you grew up in a system that was [basically] free of the influences of a DOE.

With that fact in mind, it hard to argue for the need of a Federal DOE. As long as we have the state, the country and the individual school boards, we simply do not need a DOE.
