Last weekend he partied in celebration of David Axelrod's service as Axelrod made his exit from the Obama staff. Oh, and he played a couple of rounds of basketball.Meanwhile, his foreign policy suffers and the Middle East is going up in smoke.
A week later, things are much worse in Egypt while Obama plans his next major party, watching the Super Bowl with friends like J Lo and Marc Anthony.
What most do not know is that Obama has set new records for being the "party-time president," attending more than 600 White House social functions and parties. Our "600" number is only a guess, but it is based on news stories documenting 332 White House parties and social events during the first year of Obama. Major Media is no longer reporting on such things, for obvious reasons.
While the world around our nation is going to hell (the Middle East, South America, and Asia) , we have to wait for 2012 and the political end of our resident social reformer and party animal.
He has taken more than 60 days of vacation, played 60 rounds of golf (that is a months worth of hacking), untold pick-up basketball games and hundreds of social events, not to mention more than 15 months of time (literally) doing nothing but traveling, making personal appearances and giving speeches. In 24 months of service as president, Obama has spent only 8 months of that time fully dedicated to the work of the president. We don't count his speeches . . . . sorry.
