Two Federal Court decisions work against Obama. We cover this story in the following two posts.

Arizona 1070. That is the law that has received so much negative attention of late, a law written out of necessity because the Obama Administration has refused to do its job regarding border security in the Sate of Arizona.

The Federal Court (this past summer) and Judge Susan Bolton, ruled that the law the state can restrict local officials from creating "sanctuary city" ; that it is a crime to employ illegal immigrant laborers in most circumstances, and that the Arizona officials have a place in immigration enforcement as it works in concert with the Federal government.

The court decided that the state cannot criminalize those who do not "have papers" nor can "warrantless arrests" be the order of the day.

While many questions remain in the face of this decision, the Arizona law is now in the courts, as originally written, much to the disappointment to the Administration. As things stack up, this law and the healthcare reform bill may have increased influences in the 2012 elections. Time will tell.
