December 21 may mark the day Obama"fundamentally transforms the United States of America." That's tomorrow, folks. Don't just sit there, do something

The Most Important Free Speech Issue of Our Time — What's Your Reaction: — This Tuesday is an important day in the fight to save the Internet. — As a source of innovation, an engine of our economy, and a forum for our political discourse, the Internet can only work if it's a truly level playing field. . . .

Editor's notes: Al Franken is the author of the article linked above and he is right about one thing, the FCC decision scheduled for tomorrow is the most important free speech issue of our time. But Franken is wrong about "why" this is true.

He thinks that corporations should have absolutely no voice in the political economy. We should allow them to exist, of course. After all, we need their money, but they should have nothing to say about the repressive laws being directed at them by Marxists such as Franken.

The fact of the matter is quite different. If Obama and Comrades have their way, "inaccurate" information will be regulated and banned by this bill or the end notes of this bill. Understand that conservative thought is "inaccurate." Anything about "death panels" is inaccurate info. Anything that speaks against global warming is considered harmful to the larger population because it is "inaccurate" per the judgment of the likes of Obama.

THAT is what this is all about.

It might surprise some but the very liberal past presidential Democrat candidate, George McGovern, has spoken out against this bill. It is a disgraceful piece of Anti-American legislation. This type of legislation has been implemented by China, Russian , Cuba and Venezuela.

Tomorrow is D-Day for this piece of legal tripe. Midknight Review regards this bill the most troublesome of all that has been considered over the past two years. You need to write letters and tell you friends to "go thou and do likewise."

Correction: McGovern actually registered his complaint against another Marxist effort called "card check."
