Our response? Not a chance in 800 hells.
Only 4% of the population is dedicated to this sexual license. Anytime you see percentages higher than this, you have folks including the prison population and those who experiment with same sex sex - especially the college party crowd.
Nearly 25% of our larger population are asexual in that they are not attacked to men or women.
But we digress. The point of this post is to say this: the midterm elections are not so close as to be determined by a segment of the population that totals 4%. We do believe, however, that gays, as a voting block, are angry with Obama. It is a fact that he could have ended Don't ask, Don't tell during the 2009 season even if the GOP objected. He chose to payoff his union faithfuls and push healthcare to exclusion of both immigration reform and DADT legislation.

Wow, um... I am an analyst, and I mean no offense, but there are numerous studies on the rate of homosexuality within populations, and a glaring inaccuracy in your statement here is that asexuals make up about 25% of the population. Far from true. Asexuality (or non-sexual) is about the most rare of all sexual orientations. Less than 1% claim to have no sexuality and that is a fact. There have been many studies claim a rate of 4% homosexuality in males, and for the record, that is true. However, the remaining 6% are women, and this is quite often how different studies are misinterpreted and used to the effect that such a small minority shouldn't expect any attention from all the rest of us. ... that is nonetheless a different conversation entirely.
