Sebelius, representing the Obama Administration, angerly announces opposition to freedom of speech for the insurance industry.

Who is this happy looking woman? She is Health and Human Services (HHS) secretary, Kathleen Sebelius. We are thinking this picture was taken as she issued her anti-free speech warning to the insurance world:

"There will be zero tolerance for this type of misinformation and unjustified rate increases."

Townhall.com's Michael Barone has this to say about the Administration' threat:

That sounds like a stern headmistress dressing down some sophomores who have been misbehaving. But it's actually from a letter sent Thursday from Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius to Karen Ignagni, president of America's Health Insurance Plans -- the chief lobbyist for private health insurance companies.

Sebelius objects to claims by health insurers that they are raising premiums because of increased costs imposed by the Obamacare law passed by Congress last March.

She acknowledges that many of the law's "key protections" take effect later this month and does not deny that these impose additional costs on insurers. But she says that "according to our analysis and those of some industry and academic experts, any potential premium impact ... will be minimal."

Well, that's reassuring. Er, except that if that's the conclusion of "some" industry and academic experts, it's presumably not the conclusion of all industry and academic experts, or the secretary would have said so. . . . . YOU WILL WANT TO READ THE FULL ARTICLE HERE >>>

Editor's notes: understand that Sebelius has put herself in the position of being the lone judge of what is "acceptable speech" with regard to the healthcare debate. We need not forget that this bill, already passed by the Marxist regime in power, is about to be amended if not fully reversed following the November midterm elections. No Administration since and including Truman, has ever issued such threats, yet, this seems to be commonplace with the Obama inspired folks. We know that this is an Obama edict, specifically, because of the use of the rhetorical concept of intolerance -- as in "I will not tolerate," one of Obama's favorite terms.

If the readership has forgotten, the Administration has threatened others, before. Earlier this year, following the March 20th passage of ObamaCare, hundreds of this nation's publicly traded corporations informed their stockholders of the increased costs to their bottom lines - effecting stock profitability. Henry Waxman, D-CA, threatened to have hearings exposing these corporations only to be informed that they were only obeying federal law. The Wasman threats were promptly abandned. AT&T was actually REQUIRED to tell its shareholders that ObamaCare was going to cost that company, alone, 1 billion in the coming year.

And why is the Administration resorting to threats? They have lost the battle for popular approval of the bill. To date, of the 239 Senate and House members voting for this monstrosity, NONE have mentioned heathcare in their campaign rhetoric. They obeyed their leader, Obama, and are now desperately trying to avoiding paying the price for their dictatorial actions.

Fat chance.
