How Ken Mehlman's ‘open secret’ stayed hidden — Ken Mehlman says he only recently concluded that he's gay. The media seems to have reached that conclusion years ago. — The Washington Post's Howard Kurtz is one of several journalists to quickly follow up on Mehlman's announcement Wednesday . . . . .
Editor's notes: we have found 16 different headlines carrying this story. All of them written by "big tent, inclusive, compassionate Democrat 'journalists.' " Understand that the Left writes such article to sell papers and reading time on their websites. The implication is "this is a big deal." And in so doing, they keep the gay debate on the front burner. What Mr. Mehlman in his personal life is not my business, seriously. But if he campaigns for "gay marriage," well, THAT is my business because if his side wins, he will then order me into silence and forbid any public discourse on the subject. If his side wins, the plan is to, then, fill the schools with the gay marriage doctrine and prosecute vocal opponents under hate-crime laws. That is exactly the case in Canada and France.
Point of post: to put the reporting of the gay Bush guy into context; to expose the Left's agenda in carrying the story (to make money) and to put the larger gay agenda into the context of silencing free speech.
