Editor's notes: anyone believe that Obama played any more than a 5% role in the good news of the day?? He certainly took credit for it this morning. You know, he is taking credit for the victory in Iraq, as well, in spite of the fact that he voted against all the legislation that was used to win that war while he was a Senator. And he is "just itchen" to take credit for the financial recovery. In the meantime, its all Bushes fault, of course.
Midknight Review does have a question about this story. Understand that the official estimate as to the amount of oil released into the Gulf was more than 5 million barrels total. Nearly 4 million barrels of that oil are "missing." (read here). What does that mean as to environmentalism's claim that the earth is a fragile place and we, mankind, are destroying the place ?? Are we all about to learn the recovery power of nature ? And does this not strengthen the position that we should get back to the business of offshore drilling ?
