Editor's notes: Here is a scary reality: according to the CIA World Factbook as recorded on Wikipedia, of the 213 nations listed in terms of their "real GDP," the United States ranks a miserable 154 with a --- once again -- real GDP of minus 2.4 % . That is correct. A few days ago, we read a headline stating that the US registered 2.4% growth in 2008 and no growth for all of 2009. We went shopping for this headline. We could not find it. And then, we stumbled onto this list.
Point of post: Two things are apparent: the whole world is NOT having the same problems as the United States and, secondly, things are far worse than we are being told.
