Updating its estimate of the impact the controversial new law has had, the White House now projects that the vast spending act has created or saved between 2.5 million and 3.6 million jobs.
That's up from the estimate of 2.2 million to 2.8 million jobs that was released in the first quarter of the year from the White House Council of Economic Advisers. A growing body of independent economic analysis suggests the law has boosted jobs and kept people off the unemployment line. Yet exactly how many jobs is a matter of dispute, particularly at a time when the national jobless rate continues to hover perilously close to 10 percent. . . READ THE FULL ARTICLE HERE >>>
Editor's notes: to begin with, the fact that the Administration cannot figure out if they have "created or saved" 2.5. million jobs or 3.6 million makes their estimate little more than a joke bordering on stupid. Apparently, so few bought the first lie of two weeks ago, that Obama decided to make the number even bigger. His contempt for the intellect of the voting public is monumental.
Click on recovery.gov and you will find that only 682,370 jobs have actually been created - according to this Obama site. Compare that number to the 3.6 million number he is pushing today. Ask yourself this: why has he not changed the "recovery.gov" number to reflect his most recent lie?
Point of post: to refute the fantasy of "3.6" millions jobs "created or saved" using Obama's own reporting numbers. Status of assignment: successful.
