Another friend of Obama's unhappy with the man's performance.

Editor's notes: one of our recurring themes has to do with stories that demonstrate a level of disappointment for Obama from his own constituency. Here is another of those stories. It comes from FT.com (Financial Times) and details some rather negative comments made by a Mr. Immelt (pronounced "Emelt"). Who is Immelt ? Only the head of GE. Understand that GE owns the NBC news network including the weird ones at MSNBC. and is in bed with Obama on the global warming wind industry thingy (building the electric motors for all those wind mills that are not going to produced) !!

When you have folks like this CEO being critical as a matter of record, you know you are in trouble.

From the Financial Times: Mr Immelt also had harsh words for Barack Obama, US president, lamenting what he called a “terrible” national mood and expressing concern that over-regulation in response to the global financial crisis would damp a “tepid” US economic recovery. Business did not like the US president, and the president did not like business, he said, making a point of praising Angela Merkel, Germany’s chancellor, for her defence of German industry.

“People are in a really bad mood [in the US],” Mr Immelt said. “We [the US] are a pathetic exporter...we have to become an industrial powerhouse again but you don’t do this when government and entrepreneurs are not in synch.” . . . READ THE FULL STORY >>>>

Still think Obama is not concerned about the midterms ???
