In case you missed it, this is Midknight Review's editor, his motivation and his mission statement.

Midknight Review's friendly editor (left). He used to preach but decided, after 14 years, to work for a living -- construction. His brother, 21 years his senior, landed on Normandy, June 6, 1944 and fought all the way through France and Germany . . . . one of only 3 in his company to survive the war. He talked about the war only once. He was in the Army Corp of Engineers, First Army, and fought the war in front of the "front lines" -- building the roads and bridges and bunkers the Allied Forces used in the war effort. I believe he was among the first to enter a "death camp" and I do not believe he ever got over that experience. He worked as a carpenter ever day of his life after the War but drank himself to death in 1987. "I do this for my brother and will never stand by and watch a flag burning. If burning the flag is a free speech issue, so too is putting out the flames. In fact, it is my (our) responsibility. "

Midknight Review
considers itself a "team player" and a part of the grassroots conservative army at war with the capitalized Marxist now ruling our nation. ("capitalized Marxist" = Obama with 5.5 million dollars in his back pocket. Capishe ? )

Mission Statement:
Our assignment with each day of publication is to review the top political and financial stories of our time. We are an enthusiastic part of the conservative grassroots movement and our commentary is borne of this perspective. Understand that we believe that while "moderates" exist, they do not write political opinion. In American politics, only "liberal" and "conservative" exist. The purpose of Midknight Review is to identify the two persuasions, expose their concerns and extremes and assist in the utter defeat of liberal opinion via the exchange of ideas and the power of the vote. While we will gladly fight for the right to be free, we prefer the force of the essay and the persuasiveness of a well worded polemic. Everything we say and do honors the Christ of God and the Founding Principles of the United States of America. Let us always show honor for our fallen hero's and oppose those who would transform this Great Nation into a living hell for free and honorable men and women. Karl Marx, in particular, is seen as one of the Great Heads of Satan. His socio/political views were not only poorly written, they were based upon a collection of time worn tyrannical opinions and failed social strategies. While "patriotism" is inclusive of a variety of political opinion, it does not include Marxism in whatever form. A violent expression of Islamic terrorism cannot defeat this country but the deep waters of a dark and godless collectivism can. Compromise is the vehicle used by those who would subvert the principles of this country, It needs to be identified and rooted out. American Exceptionalism is the very opposite to Marxist Compromise. Each is the enemy of the other. They are mutually exclusive ideas and cannot co-exist in a free society. One is the collection of ideals and principles borne of honorable men and women and in need of amendment from time to time; the other is flat out evil. We have made our choice. Our effort begins anew each and every morning and will not be denied.
