Problems, problems, problems -- and for Obama, they are all coming from the Left.

Look at some of these headlines. What do they have in common? They record descent within Obama's own party.

The Hill is reporting Tough talk after the cameras were turned off. Democrat complaint? Obama has no plan.

The L.A, Times reports: Democrats nay-say Obama budget.

New York Times: Obama not the one we have been waiting for.

FoxNews: Mort Zuckerman, President of NewsWeek, I am disappointed in Obama.

Indeed, what we have here is a brief listing of headlines detailing serious displeasure with Mr. Obama - all of which are coming from the Left. The wheels have come off his legislative machine, at least for the time being, and the above documents part of the reason why. The negatives Midknight Review continues to reference are becoming pervasive, even systemic in the same way an invading cancer comes to overwhelm its host.

We believe Obama is in more trouble than he cares to admit. Instead of actually dealing with the troublesome issues facing him, he has decided to ramped up the same old, tiresome criticisms of the GOP as if THAT were his problem. One cannot solve a problem if one does not know the problem exists !!

Our suggestion: maybe if he stayed home, in the White House, and did his job, the critical nature of his problems would subside. Last year, his first year in office, he spent 9 months of time out of 12 months of being the Chief of Staff doing nothing but writing and giving speeches. He is not a student of the political process - rather , he seems to resent the fact that the process is the avenue for the changes he wants to make. He has proven to be emotionally immature, thin skinned and combative, and incapable of new solutions for old problems. Outspending Bush is not a new idea -- it is an excessive idea. But he knows of no other way. He is the most profoundly existential President we have had in these modern times and he has thoroughly gotten in the way of himself. In his case, the change that would most effect this nation in a positive way would be the change that needs to occur and abide within himself -- jds.
