Here is what is happening with the health care bill:
Obama and his minions have been told "how the cow is to eat the cabbage" by union leaders: "either exempt our members from the health care tax or we sit on our hands and do nothing come November and the mid-term elections."
Result: the 40% "Cadillac tax" levied onto the insurance policies of the middle class will not be assessed on union member policies until 2018. In addition to this arrangement, beyond 2018 these union members will receive dental and eye coverage for free forever according to the morning reporting on FoxNews.
The most troublesome of all that has transpired since the advent of Marxist Obama is the total desertion of the private sector working middle class by the Obama Administration. It is sadly obvious that Obama cares nothing for this demgraphic. It is this grouping that promises to put him and his socialist buds out of business beginning with the November mid-terms ----- perhaps beginning on Tuesday with the Massachusetts special election.
In fact, the reports with regard to this election is the very impetus for the increased, almost fevered effort, with the passage of the troubled health care bill. Well over $1 billion has been spent or promised to various politicians in exchange for their votes. And now the unions have taken over the process. Keep in mind that the passage of this bill is not the end of matter, however.
There will be Constitutional challenges and the threat of reform or repeal over the coming years. Major legislation has been taken down in the past -- this particular legislation is prime for the same end. While most Americans want health care reform, more than 60% do not want this legislation including a majority of voters in Massachusetts.
Obama and company understand that they simply cannot lose the Massachusetts election AND fail with the health care bill. That would signal a Democrat collapse of monumental, even historic, proportions. In fact, that very thing may be in the works now. We forget about the closeness of New York 23 last November -- conservatives coming within 4 points of winning an election they were projected to lose by 20 !!!! A true conservative "historian" would list this election as the beginning of the end for the current crop of Marxists now running Washington. Of course, the Democrat slid downward may have actually begun with the GOP gubernatorial victories in Virginia and New Jersey, states won by Obama and projected to remain in the Democrat camp.
