Why is the JCPOA mentioned as if it is still in affect? Answer: Because it is . . . . . . for some.

JCPOA is the name of the Iranian Deal.  As you know,  Trump pulled out of that deal, but the press continues to complain that Iran is violating that agreement.  The question many ask is this:  If the U.S. has pulled out of the deal,  why is Iran's compliance with the JCPOA worthy of mention?  Answer:  Because all other parties to the deal including France and Germany,  remain partners to the agreement  (its not a treatise,  only an agreement).   You should know that these European partners have announced their intentions to move away from the agreement, including their intentions to  impose expired sanctions,   if Iran follows through with its threat to pursue weapons-grade plutonium.
