It seems there is no aspect of the Trump presidential campaign and presidency that is not under scrutiny — either in New York (where state investigators are already looking into the operation of his foundation), or as part of the Russia investigation. The idea that Trump can escape blame by discrediting a single witness such as Cohen or defang special counsel Robert S. Mueller III’s inquiry by screaming “Hoax!” cannot pass the straight-face test. There may be still other investigations that still haven’t come to light.
Editor: So says a NeverTrump media pundit. It makes no difference who the man is except to say that he is an opponent, a Democrat who believes that any means used to bring down Trump is permissible . . . . . . precisely why NOTHING these folks can be viewed as having credibility.
The comment and the larger article is all opinion and means nothing. The fact that Mueller's entire council is made up of NeverTrump progressives is the more important fact for me, but that aside, it is Mueller's decisions that count and NOTHING ELSE.
Keep in mind that the Dems intend their impeachment effort to last right up to the day of the 2020 elections, proving, of course, that this is all about politics and nothing else. They need this event, long-term, to "get out the vote" because they have nothing else to off.
