“President Trump must be willing to confront Putin from a position of
strength and demonstrate that there will be a serious price to pay for
his ongoing aggression towards the United States and democracies around
the world. If President Trump is not prepared to hold Putin accountable,
the summit in Helsinki should not move forward,” a press release from
McCain’s stated in light of special council Robert Mueller’s indictment of 12 Russian hackers.
Editor's notes: I doubt that I was ever a fan of McCain. His pretense at being a Conservative was never genuine, IMO. In this case, the arrogance is sickening. McCain has no clue as to the ultimate plans of our President. . . . .
Sadly, McCain doesn't care.
Just know that McCain's "position of strength" (how clique can you get?) probably has nothing to do with Trump's policy agenda. Maybe McCain should try winning an election before acting like he is Commander in Chief.
At no point in time, should Trump's enemies run his life or determine his agenda, unless, of course, he is not acting in the best interests of the United States. And, sense he has not even met Putin for the first time, who can say that Trump is doing harm to our once great nation?
Best advice for Trump? Sit down and shut the hell up.
