Later that day, Arnold backtracked completely via Twitter and an apology statement to NBC’s Emily Fox: Michael Cohen didn’t say Me & him were teaming up to take down Donald Trump! Michael has enough Trump on his plate. I’m the crazy person who said Me & Michael Cohen were teaming up to take down Trump of course.

Trump has to stay away from Cohen for the time being. When the time comes, the Prez will commute the sentence, if he can. He has not thrown Cohen under the bus.
