Political retardation is no substitute for doing the right thing.

Detriot's Black activist population wants to rename one of their high schools,  a school honoring Dr. Ben Carson.  The gimmick political proposal being used,  in this case, is the fact that Dr Carson is a "Strict constructionist" when it comes to Constitutional issues.  To this particular class of mental giants,  this means that Dr. Carson believes that slavery is an US Constitution sanctioned matter.  

Never mind the fact that slavery was one of the first issues resolved in the early days of this  nation's history.  It was taken down precisely because the US Constitution proclaimed "liberty for all."   Never mind that it was the Democrat Party who rejected this principle and drove our country into it's only civil war.  

Detroit's school system is one of the worst in the nation,  and this sort of nonsense is part of the reason.
