Wednesday PM: Nothing wrong with Kushner asking Flynn to contact Russia. This was after the election and part of the transition

Eli Lake / Bloomberg:
Kushner Is Said to Have Ordered Flynn to Contact Russia  —  Now that the retired general has pleaded guilty, the president's son-in-law could be one of the next dominoes to fall.  —  Former national security adviser Michael Flynn's guilty plea Friday for lying to the FBI is alarming news for Donald Trump.
Editor:  The hysterical Left Outs continue with such headlines,  knowing that "contact with Russia" in December of 2016,  as a member of a transition team,  is not even close to a crime.  The Logan Act,  written in the late 1700's and never used in prosecution, is what these hysterical clowns are attempting to use.  This is a law preventing nonfederal representatives from making deals or treatise with foreign governments.
A couple of points:  ALL PREVIOUS ADMINISTRATIONS are "guilty" of communicating  with foreign governments prior to inauguration   . . .    all.  Trump made phones and held meetings with dozen of foreign countries prior to take the Oath.
If Trump is guilty of a violation of the Logan Act,  so too are Governor Brown who is busy making deals with China,  and,  ex (as in "has been")  president Obama, who is following Trump around the world,  from official stop to stop,  undermining presidential authority and developing policy in violation of the Logan Act.

Nancy Cook / Politico: Trump White House caught off guard by Flynn plea  —  No one in the White House was prepared.
Editor:  I posted the above headline only to make this statement:  No,  the Administration was not caught off guard about the Flynn indictment.  It is a silly assertion and unbelievable precisely because Flynn was fired for the same reasons he was indicted.

    1. Anonymous wants to write something on policy, it will be published but no more gossip. I am done reading the silliness that passes for commentary from the brain-dead Losers of this world. See ya, William.
