Why the generic survey means absolutely nothing:

Avery Anapol / The Hill: Fox News poll: Dems lead by 15 points on generic ballot
Democratic candidates lead by 15 points in a hypothetical matchup for the 2018 midterm elections, according to a new Fox News poll.
In the survey, 50 percent of respondents said that if the election for Congress were held today, they would vote for the Democratic candidate. Only 35 percent said they would vote for a Republican.

Editor:  In the end,  a generic national poll means nothing.  I have no idea why they take such a poll.  All the poll proves is the balance or imbalance of the partisan population.  It is an emotional poll.  When applied to the House representatives election cycle (every two years),  all such elections are local.  None are national.  And that is why congress can have a 13% approval rating while 93% of House (or Senate, for that matter)  candidates are re-elected , year after year.

    1. Trump has a higher approval rating than all of GOP and Democrat leadership. He has a higher approval rating than all of Congress. That is why you can't stop him.
